Everyone in Dance Collective is allowed to submit a choreographer interest form at the beginning of each semester, as long as they have been an active member for at least one semester. A dance may be cut due to an excess of dances or failure to meet deadlines.

If you are looking to be a choreographer for next semester, here are the additional requirements:

1) Choreographers must attend all required choreography meetings, in addition to the member meetings.

These required choreographer meetings will be around 5 minutes to touch base. They will be held after the Fall Clinic, the Kickoff Meeting, the Mid-semester Showcase, and the Performer Meeting.

2) Choreographers must organize all performance aspects regarding your piece and submit them to our Performance Director, Nina.

This includes costumes, hair and makeup, props and accessories, light design for the showcase, and cut music (no longer than 3:00 minutes per piece is accepted). 

3) Each piece is required to perform at the dress rehearsal and all three showcases.
